Family Participation

We value and pride ourselves on our partnership with families. We believe families are children’s first teachers and therefore we embrace parents, guardians and family involvement within our Service. Participation by parents, guardians and the whole family conveys a positive impression to children and allows them to feel supported and promotes a sense of belonging.

Working Together

Families are encouraged to schedule appointments with their Educators and Management to discuss any suggestions or observations. This may include evaluating your child’s progress and development, raising concerns, setting new goals, and so on.

Families can also come in for support and help in the wider sense, where if your family circumstances have changed. We can help link you with other services if we are not able to assist ourselves.

Child Care Subsidy

Is a regular payment that assists most families with the costs of child care. The Child Care Subsidy is paid directly to My Planet and then the centre charges families a fee reduction (Gap fee).

Please note that depending on your Child Care Subsidy, fees will differ per family.

In exceptional circumstances families can receive more support than the standard entitlement. So it is important that families keep Centrelink informed about any change of family circumstances

We ask that you have your CSS setup before enrolling, so we can give you a proper estimate.

To be eligible for Child Care Subsidy, one or both parents or principal carers must be Australian residents as defined under the Social Security Act 1991, or be eligible non-residents.
